I never understood face mists — I actually perceived them as an unnecessary luxury. I have oily skin, so I felt no need to add more dew to it. While some face sprays just provide extra moisture, there’s a group of face mists on the market now that do a bit more.

Osea has one of them. They are a non-toxic, vegan skincare line, and has developed a Sea Mineral Mist that i’ve fallen for. Hero ingredients include a reg algae (gigartina skottsbergii), that help hydrate and firm your skin over time. It also works to protect against environmental factors like pollution and strong wind or dry climates. A brown marine algae (undaria pinnatifida) which is packed with vitamins and minerals that help reduce fine lines, wrinkles and redness. Aloe vera which is full of antioxidants that help soothe your skin, is healing, reduce redness and acts as a protective barrier. Dead sea salt which is rich in minerals (zinc, magnesium, potassium and calcium) to help purify and exfoliate the skin.

Needless to say, when I found this product, I was pretty drawn to its ingredient list. It sounded like a week at the beach, and my skin always looks hella good after a week at the beach. Osea turned me into a face mist believer. I’ve been using it as a toner either by misting directly to my face or spraying into my hand and patting it into my skin. It’s done a great job at neutralizing the redness in my skin, it’s helping with any emerging acne, healing existing acne much faster than normal, and i’m not mad about the healthy hydrated dewy glow it’s giving me.

They also sell a travel sized one if you wanna sample it first.

What I like About it

  • It’s helped my acne heal much faster than normal.

  • It’s made my skin look less red.

  • Gives my skin a healthy glow.

  • Affordably priced.

  • Is a great product to help activate my hyaluronic acid as well as reducing any sticky residue from sheet masks.

  • Great to apply after i’ve been out in the sun, feels nourishing.

What Don’t I like About it

  • The spray itself comes out way too fast, hence why I spray it in my hand first.

How to use

Mist after you clean your face as a toner, or throughout the day for a little extra hydration. Could also be used to refresh your makeup or after you’ve been in the sun for a little aloe cool down.
