So many people don’t use moisturizer in fear of breaking out, or because they don’t feel they need it (my fiance), or they forget (also my fiance). If that sounds like you, I would recommend changing your habit now.

If there was one general tip I could give you for better skin it would be to keep it hydrated. We need to take care of the largest organ in our bodies, and that starts with adding moisture to it. Many don’t realize that hot water actually strips your skin of any moisture or oils leaving it really dry and sometimes causing overproduction of oils. Hydrated skin has a tendency to stays more plump and it also helps reduce acne flair ups.

Look for products with Vitamin A or B to help with firmness. If you want something that can protect your skin and fight skin damage, look for more anti-oxidant ingredients like Vitamin C or E. Also don’t forget to wear sunscreen! This can be in addition to your daily moisturizer.

Wear Sunscreen. If I could offer you only one tip for the future, Sunscreen would be it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience…
