Review: Does ZitSticka Actually Work?

ZitSticka review todewlist

I have acne prone skin, and a big fan of doing overnight spot treatments. I typically use a face mask, but with the resurgence of zit stickers, I have come to love them once again. With so many to choose from, I decided to try a few brands to see which is the most effective!

I experimented with: Peace Out, Truly Beauty, Peter Thomas Roth, Cosrx, and ZitSticka. Out of all five, I think ZitSticka was the most effective. I Love that the package provides a cleansing wipe to really rid the spot/area of dirt, oil, makeup or skincare. I like that it works on zits at different stages: still under the skin, white head just emerged, just a red bump, and even if the skin has been broken. If you wear the sticker overnight, you will see results when you wake up the next day. Even some of the more stubborn zits i’ve had seems to reduce in size after day 1, and disappear all together after day 2. I like that this sticker has microdarts, feels like it’s latching onto the zit.

Ingredients include niacinamide (calms redness/irritations), oligopeptide (repairs skin damage), salicylic acid (breaks down skin cells/reduces sebum) and hyaluronic acid (typically locks in moisture, but on dry skin it sucks moisture out) — wondering if the latter was the intent, if so, kinda cool.

What I don’t like about them is the packaging. The packaging is beautifully done, and i’m a sucker for well designed products, but there is so much waste for one application. I wish they could find a way to reduce that… Also I think they are pretty expensive, possibly due to their packaging. It’s $30 for 8 applications.

Order of Preference

  1. ZitSticka

  2. Cosrx

  3. Peter Thomas Roth

  4. Peace Out

  5. Truly Beauty

What I like About it

  • They work. Very well.

  • Works at tackling zits at any stage.

  • It’s cool that you can really feel the darts upon application (they don’t hurt) and shockingly dissolve when you remove.

  • I like that they do include the cleaning wipe just to create a really clean space for the microdart treatment.

  • Wearing a sticker helps you from picking at your face!

  • Also Like that my zits are sort of concealed by the stickers, the reds don’t look so red.

What Don’t I like About it

  • I hate how much packaging is discarded from a single application.

  • Price.

How to use

So this is a two step product: 1. Wipe target area with the mini swap (in the blue package) 2. Once dry, apply the microdart patch (in the peach package) onto zit. 3. Leave on for 2+ hrs for microdarts to dissolve (for best results, leave on overnight).
